Peels

Chemical peels are techniques to improve the outer cellular layer of the skin. We offer a Vitalize Peel which uses Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Resorcinol and Retinoic Acid. It works very well with active acne skin and is good for darker skin types IV, V, and VI, which have too much pigment for other light-based skin rejuvenation treatments. The Vitalize Peel will help with fine lines and improve uneven pigmentation, especially post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation associated with acne and hyperpigmentation associated with sun damage. Best results require a series of 6 peels. There is no down time after the peels, although patients will experience flaking of their skin in the days following the procedure.
