Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a technique that mechanically exfoliates the top layer of the skin. The machine uses a fine powder of crystals and suction to abrade the dead cells of the stratum corneum or outermost layer of the epidermis. This makes the skin feel smoother and softer. More importantly, exfoliated skin is more absorbent, making medical-grade skin care products more effective.
Your skin is constantly creating new skin cells. The old cells are pushed outward, where they are “cornified,” leaving the skin rough and callow. Because of this, we recommend a series of treatments and a maintenance program every four to six weeks.
