LightSheer™ Diode Laser
The LightSheer™ Diode laser is the gold standard
for laser hair removal. It utilizes the 800nm wavelength
which is at the end of the visible light spectrum.
It has a sapphire chilled tip that protects the skin
by providing continuous contact cooling of the epidermis.
We spent many hours researching different laser hair
removal systems. We questioned practitioners who
had access to multiple laser systems and we found
that when they had access to different lasers, they
chose to use the diode because of its effectiveness
and safety in removing the unwanted hair. It is FDA
approved for permanent hair reduction on all skin
types including tanned skin. With the right pulse
width, the diode can be safely used with dark skin
types.
Lasers
generate heat in the hair shaft, which diffuses to
the stem cell and matrix targets to cause desired damage.
