Blu-U Light

The BLU-U illuminator is not a laser and it is used for Photodynamic Therapy. It is patented technology to deliver uniform narrow band of blue visible light that ideally activates the endogenous porphyrins of the bacterium propionibacterium acne and the porphyrins that are created from topically applied 5 aminolevulinic acid (Levulan Kerastick). Since it is in the visible light spectrum, the light is perfectly safe. It is the only FDA cleared device to activate Levulan Kerastick.
