Edward S. Gronka, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr.
Gronka was born and raised in Northeastern
Pennsylvania, near the Pocono Mountains.
He did his undergraduate training at Emory
University, receiving his Bachelor of Science
in Biology in 1981. He then attended Temple
University Medical School, and received
his medical Doctorate in 1985. Next, he
completed his General Surgery training
at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami,
Florida, and then traveled to Ohio State
University to complete his Plastic Surgery
residency. Dr. Gronka is board certified
in both general and plastic surgery. He
was granted board certification from the
American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1994.
Dr. Gronka has been in practice in plastic
surgery in Atlanta since 1992. His interests
in plastic surgery include cosmetic surgery
of the breast, face, and body as well as
reconstructive surgery of the breast and
body. He is affiliated with Piedmont Fayette
Hospital, and Southern Regional Medial
Center, and has operating privileges at
all of the South Metro Atlanta hospitals.
He performs most of his cosmetic surgery
at Advanced Aesthetics Plastic Surgery
Center. He is an active member of the American
Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS),
and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons
(ASPS). Other group affiliations include
the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons
and the American Medical Association.

surgery approach must be tailored to that
person’s needs," states
Dr. Gronka about his philosophy on the
practice of Plastic Surgery. Appointments
can be made at the Fayetteville or McDonough
offices.
Dr. Gronka is married and has two children.
His personal interests include golf, music
and cooking.
